Have Some Troubles? Sounds Like Life to Me

Greetings Leaders!

I don’t listen to Country music very often but did catch “Sounds Like Life to Me” by Darryl Worley on the radio this afternoon and it made me smile. The message is simple, we all have problems. Taxes, bills, broken down cars, kids running around, parents getting older. But, that is just life and the song’s advice is good…

I know this ain’t what you wanna hear…but it’s what I’m gonna say…
Sounds like life to me, ain’t no fantasy it’s just a common case of every day reality. Man I know it’s tough, but you gotta suck it up. To hear you talk, you’re caught up in some tragedy… but it sounds like life to me.

I don’t know what challenges you may be facing in your personal life, or as a leader, but sometimes we just need to suck it up. We can pause to cry or complain, but… a true leader moves on. Sounds like life to me!
