Path of the Honorable Leader – Avoiding Failure

Greetings Leaders…

This is the 12 posting in The Path of the Honorable Leader series.

The Path of the Honorable Leader is filled with hope. A better life. A better world. A better way to live. Yet the Honorable Leader knows that there is no guarantee in life. The Honorable Leader knows that while the events of our lives are lessons along life’s journey, that failure is still a possibility. Yet the Honorable Leader also knows that failure is a choice.

The Honorable Leader knows that there are but two ways to fail. The first is to never try. To settle for mediocrity. To put all her dreams on the shelf for another day… that never comes. To never risk… so that she will never gain. The Honorable Leader, tries. Yes, there are risks. Financial. Emotional. Career. Relationships. But the Honorable Leader sets out and attempts to make a difference anyway. She knows that a sure path to failure, is to never try, so refuses to sit in her corner, hoping… when she should be doing.

The second way to fail, is to give up. Giving up, means that the chance of something extraordinary happening no longer exists. Giving up is the nail in the coffin. The Honorable Leader knows that if she never gives up, that she never fails. Failure is only possible if you don’t get up when you get knocked down.

It has been said, that the measure of a man, or a woman, is not how many times you get knocked down, but how many times you get back up.

Step out. Get knocked down… then get up and try again. That is the path of the Honorable Leader.

All the best!
All the time!
JT
