The Path of the Honorable Leader

Greetings Leaders!

Over the years I have read many great books. I’m currently reading Warrior of the Light by Paul Coelho and am enjoying it immensely. It is simple, straight forward and thought provoking. His style impressed upon me, the desire to pass on short ideas on the path to Honorable Leadership. I’ll be posting them regularly. If you like this one, make sure you subscribe to the blog so you know when the next one comes out.

The Honorable Leader often stands alone.

The path of the Honorable Leader is a difficult one. As Robert Frost so eloquently put in his poem The Road Not Taken, ” Two roads diverged in a wood, and I, I took the one less traveled by, And that has made all the difference.”

The Honorable Leader, takes the road less traveled. He sees the world through different eyes. She lives for more than just a paycheck. He stands up against the crowd. It is the parent who puts the children before a career. The worker who doesn’t cuss or swear, even when working in a factory, in the military or on a construction site.

When an Honorable Leader surveys the world around him, he sadly realizes how few are like him. Most don’t think like him. They don’t understand the impact they have on others around them. But not the Honorable Leader. The Honorable Leader sees with great clarity, the way forward. The path to a better life for all. Where every man, every woman, every child, is valued.

The Honorable Leader knows that the few like him… or her, help shape the world for the rest of humanity. The Honorable Leader is not necessarily a politician, CEO or religious leader. Many of these, are not Honorable Leaders. An Honorable Leader chooses the road less traveled and Leads With Honor.

Become an Honorable Leader…
Choose the harder path…
Make a difference…
